1.Malshej Falls


Malshej Falls is a well-known beauty spot, and the most charming hills located in the borders of the Pune and Thane districts. Easily accessible via Mumbai which is around 160Kms and also can be reached from Junnar, Pune which can be reached by traveling a distance of 130Kms.

Mode of Transport & Accessible: It can be reached by the nearest railway station Kalyan which is around 85 Kms from Malshej Falls. If in case of tourist traveling from Pune the nearest bus stop is Kalyan. Any bus traveling towards Ahmednagar will stop at Malshej Ghat.

2. Chinaman’s Falls

• The Chinaman’s falls are located on the way to Mahabaleshwar, the place is covered with a beautiful range of mountains and one of the beautiful and it is a prime place to visit on a trip to Mahabaleshwar trip.
• The beauty of this place is the water cliffs from a height of 400 feet into a deep valley. The view is surrounded by mountain ranges and positioned at the top of veena valley. The pleasant surroundings and appealing waterless make this place a perfect holiday spot.
There was a saying that these waterfalls were looked after by Chinese personnel after that they named it “Chinaman’s waterfalls”.

Mode of Transport & Accessible: It lies at a distance of approximately 2.5Kms from Mahabaleshwar Busstop towards the south of koyna valley.

3. Sahastrakund Waterfalls:

• Sahastrakund waterfalls are one of the most beautiful and scenic waterfalls which are located on the boundary of the Nanded and Yavatmal Districts and on the River Penganga.
• The Penganga River passes through all the major districts like Nanded, Hingoli, Yavatmal.
• Since the waterfall is not a well-known place but you can enjoy it by visiting during the rainy seasons

Mode of Transport & Accessible:

• It is located near Islapur in Kinwat Taluka and Nanded District actually shares the boundaries with two districts, Nanded of Marathwada region and Yavatmal of Vidarbha region.
• Saharsakund can be reached by covering a distance of 172 km from Yavatmal and 100 km from Nanded. It is also very near to Nirmal & Adilabad.

• Nearest Airport: Dr. Babasahedb Ambedkar International Airport is 151 Kms away from district head quarter.
• Nearest Bus stop: Sahastrakund Bus stop (Nirmal one bus runs 4 times a day & from Umerkhed its is around 70Kms).

Mode of Transport & Accessible: As this place is not too far to reach from Pune and Mumbai you can prefer Car to reach the waterfalls you can have good photography on the way to Khopoli Town.

Mode of Transport & Accessible: From Khopoli town the Zenith Falls is approx. 7kms once after reaching the place to reach the waterfalls one has to trek for 5 km of road surrounded by thick vegetation and rocky road.

• The falls are also called Valse, and it’s situated in Kolad, Raigad.

• It’s only a few hours from Pune and a must-visit place during the monsoons for nature lovers.
• You can explore a lot of small waterfalls which are cascade through rocks and this place gives a pleasant and breath-taking experience.
• To enjoy the scenic beauty of nature one has to visit this place during the rainy season.
• It is located just 10mins away from Tata solar plant, Mulshi.
